Well the GOP got spanked in the election today / myLot

The Democrat candidates won the governor spots in both New Jersey and Virginia today as well as the mayor's race in New York City. Frankly the Republicans got spanked as it wasn't even close. We are talking wins by double digits. This looks good for next year's mid-term elections. Sure things could change over the next 12 months but I sincerely doubt that Trump will change course. That means the GOP Senators and Representatives won't either because they are afraid of that grifting sociopath. They will get spanked again next year.

The problem is the short-term memory of Americans. You think they’ll remember the shutdown next year? But I’ll bet the shutdown will be over in a day or two, because I think this was a clear signal.

I hope it ends soon but who knows? Mike Johnson is a nut who is afraid of Trump and who wants to hide the Epstein files.

We had municipal elections in my county, and progressives won big here, as well! Democrats turned over about a dozen seats in the Virginia legislature, as well, and voters in Pennsylvania kept the Dem majority on the state Supreme Court. It's clearly a referendum on how badly the Republicans are messing things up. A lot of voters who has switched from Biden to Trump switched back to voting Democrat. They LEARNED.

I´m very much afraid of the news that I read from your country. And I feel that people should do more. Today´s news was about the Halloween party Trump gave while help was cut for many Americans that had money problems.
