U S Navy sailor saves the life of a man who is inside of a burning auto

United States Navy (USN) sailor William Thompson was at the right place at the right time on Saturday October 25 at the parking lot of the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg Illinois when a male driver who was inside of his auto suffered a medical emergency before his auto the auto caught fire.
William managed to get the stricken man out of the burning auto safely before an ambulance arrived to take the stricken man to a local hospital for treatment.
William suffered minor injuries when he broke the car window and with the help of bystanders to save the life of the injured driver whose condition was not released to the pubic.

I am in agreement with you that William and some bystanders helped rescue the driver who was inside the burning auto.

Maybe the doors were locked; it would be hard to break the car window, if he used his elbow, maybe that's how he was injured. A good save, to rescue the guy from a burning car.

I am sure that the doors were locked when William had to break the car window with his hands.
