Larimer County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) deputies answered an emergency call on Saturday October 25 when a bear managed to get trapped inside of an auto,
Since the deputies could not physically open the door of the auto due to being attacked by the bear, the deputies had to use a handle release tool from a distance.
The bear was able to go away from the auto safely to the woods. The damage to the auto was huge even though there was no food inside of the auto.
The owners of the auto are happy that the deputies were able to free the bear from being inside of the auto unharmed.

I would not want to go to places where bears can be part of the company.

@Deepizzaguy I have seen documentaries in which tourists camp and leave garbage around in places where animals live. They are asking for trouble.

@marguicha Some people like to beg for trouble dealing with bears.

I can imagine the bear would have done a lot of damage to the car.
