Well, I got wet today…..

It’s my own fault really….i know it is. It had been raining and I still went out. Big mistake, but I looked at the sky and the sun was trying to come out. And ….i didn’t take an umbrella ! What was I thinking ! What a fool ! So, I was going on a two bus journey….and it started to rain when I was on the first bus….too late to go back. It may not be much I thought , I will soon be on the second bus I thought , then I will be pretty much under cover …..I thought. Well, yes, some of that was true…..i was soon in the second bus , but getting to it I got wet ….then the undercover part , was undercover with great big holes in ! I got wet. Luckily I only had a couple of stores to go to ….but the first bus stop to come home was full ….i got wet. The second bus didn’t have a driver so we had to wait til they found a replacement …..by the time they had found a new driver the bus stop was full and the bus had to stop further down the road ….we had to walk to get to it …..I got wet. I got home and promised myself a baileys in coffee and not to go out again today ! How has your day been ?
