Firefighters rescue one person who was in a house fire in Kentucky

The Louisville Fire Department firefighters answered an emergency call on Saturday night November 8 when a two-story apartment building was on fire.
One person was on the second floor inside the building when the firefighters rescued the person who was then taken by ambulance to the University of Louisville to be treated for his or her injuries.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities.

To be trapped on a higher level floor than the ground floor would be very nasty indeed, and that person was lucky that the firefighters could rescue the person, before the fire got to them, and killed them.
