I Do So Enjoy My Grocery Delivery

I started out during the pandemic getting our groceries delivered by Walmart. They made so many mistakes I changed to Albertson's. They have been stellar, and I have had no problems with them at all. I just finished chatting with the person who is collecting our groceries this time. I think it is so cool that I can chat with this person as they are going around the store collecting my order. If an item isn't available, we can discuss options. I don't know about you folks, but I was brought up in the 50s. Nothing like this existed. So I am tickled each time I chat with this worker. They even have a premium delivery option now where they will bring the food right into your house. Yes, gone are the days that the delivery person would do this at no charge. This one is just the higher charge so it's not that much of an increase. I won't use it. I get the least inexpensive charged time and just go with it since we are here all day anyway. I do have to have to find the positive, good things in life during this time of dreary, depressing wintertime and so this is one of them. How's your day going? Do you get your groceries delivered occasionally?

I place my order online; and cousin #2 picks it up and puts it away. She also picks up my prescriptions.

I use Walmart+ since I can get it for half price. I appreciate that you can talk to the shopper and driver as well. At first, they made several mistakes, including putting my groceries in front of someone else’s door. I even got someone else’s groceries once (they let me keep them). But after a few times of reporting this, they shaped up. I have to get them delivered due to no longer being able to carry groceries to the 3rd floor. In addition, I appreciate getting Peacock or Paramount+ for free.

That sounds like a great deal. I'm glad to hear you got things worked out and they are a good option for you. I'd lov to get the streaming apps for free too. How nice.

Wow Albertsons sounds wonderful. I do curbside pickup from Walmart. I don’t live close enough to get delivery. Light snow flurries here. My little one is home sick and is excited about the snow.

I woke up a little while ago, took my evening meds and ate some late lunch. I'm glad you can get your groceries delivered.

I just got up about an hour or so ago. Had an egg and English muffin. It's nice to have this option. My daughter used to struggle getting it all home in a basket. Now we have gotten her a wagon she uses but the delivery is a lot of help since she is no spring chicken anymore and already does so much around here.

It's sure nice having this option but we do live just outside the main town area.

Every month when I order from Walmart I get the express delivery because I don't like to get anxious waiting for the delivery,

The stores in my town have curb side delivery, but I have never used it.

We've had that for several years. It is nice but by the time you put in an order you could just have gone and gotten the items. I don't see where that saves a person much time.
