A new mixer means more muffins ….mmmmm

So, I know I have mentioned that my Mom bakes a lot and one thing she does nearly every week is blueberry muffins. We both love those. She uses a hand mixer at the moment….the sort you hold in your hand ( obviously ) and has two swirly prongs …..heaven help me , I can’t think of their proper name !, that whizz around mixing the mixture ( I'm really good at this descriptive lark aren’t I ! ) She is finding it is hurting her wrist with the time she is holding it , so tomorrow we are going to buy her a stand mixer ….just slip the mixing bowl under the said swirly things and hey presto ! I will buy this for her as a Christmas presents.

You might ask her if she wants one first. Mom never wanted a stand mixer because they take up too much room on the counter. Pretty keeps threatening to buy a stand mixer even though I keep saying I'll throw it in the trash because we don't have room for it here.

It was Mom that mentioned it to me . She said she was going to get one tomorrow when we went to the shop….she has seen the one she wants in their catalogue …so I said I would buy it for her for Christmas.

@DaddyEvil she will, she loves cooking, and baking. She had one before , years ago.

I know ….its not often she mentions that there is something that she would like ….although at 87 she has most of what she needs/wants anyway. But this will be so useful .
