Wind

I live on the top of a hill and it is rarely windy up here. We get more wind at the bottom of the hill. Day before yesterday I went outside and it was very windy here on top of the hill! So I came back in and got my coat.
Yesterday I looked out the window and seen that it was windy out and I had to take the trash out and take something to the post office. The temps have gone down some here lately and I saw it was windy so I put a long sleeve shirt on and my coat.
I went outside with my hands full with the trash bags and mailing tube, went down the hill to the dumpsters and put the trash bag in the correct dumpster and the other the other bag in the recycle bin. I continued to walk to the post office and noticed there was no more wind blowing just a little breeze a few blocks away.
Now I am getting hot, I am over dressed, but nothing much I could do about that now, I had the mailing tube in my hands. I got to the post office then took my jacket off!
Is it windy where you are?

It can be windy here but usually isn't. I like it chilly and just wear jean shorts, a muscle shirt and sandals most of the year. My daughter puts on a coat and long jeans most of the time. (I was wearing jean shorts, sandals and a tee shirt a few days ago when it was 28F outside so slipped on a sweatshirt/jacket over my shirt and was very comfortable outside.)

@DaddyEvil Wow! What causes you to have it? I have never heard of it before. Me not being to handle too much cold is due to my Arthritis, Sciatica and Fibromyalgia. So I understand. Other then just Tylenol and heating pads where it hurts at the moment nothing else can be done about it.

@dfollin I've had hyperthyroidism for over 20 years and, even though I take meds for it now, it messed up my systems so I'm still usually too warm.
After starting the meds, I can go out in the heat of summer without too much problems. Before I started taking meds for hyperthyroidism, I would stream sweat at 70F while I was standing still. It is so much better now!

It's been windy for a couple of weeks. We've had gale warnings and small craft advisories.
