A mix up with Moms medication !

So when we went shopping yesterday Mom had to go to the pharmacy and order her next lot of tablets. The pharmacist hide around the corner for a few minutes, then returned, saying “ you don’t need any more heart tablets as you should have plenty of those left “ Mom told him she didn’t have a heart tablet. “ yes, you do, prescribed by the hospital in August “. Now, we did take her to the hospital for several checks on her heart but have heard nothing …..usually no news is good news and they don’t need to take action. She was told she would be sent for if needed. He scuttled back around the corner and after several minutes came back with a package . “ These are your heart tablets , they were on the shelf “ Mom explained she didn’t know anything about them. He looked at the date on the package …..SEPTEMBER ……yesturday was NOVEMBER 13TH !!! Why were they allowed to simply sit in the shelf all that time ! On reading the notes inside, it now seems that she can’t take them anyway as they clash with other medication she takes. Later this afternoon The Mister and I will take her back to the pharmacy and talk to them about the tablets. She can’t get an appointment with her own Doctor. Medical issues are serious !
