Windows 10 should have finished its update on 2025 October 14th, that's why my computer has been slowing down for a while now. I've checked with PC Health and my computer is indeed not compatible with Windows 11 OS. That's why I left it stuck on Windows 10 64Bit even if I Bypass some requirement it can damage other things and I don't want anything bad to happen to my computer. I have had this computer for 14 years and it has been working fine.

Your computer is probably still working fine. Microsoft is just trying to force you to either buy a new computer or do work on your current computer so it can run Win11 instead of staying as a Win10 computer.

There's no way I'm going to buy a computer for Windows 11, the price is pretty fantastic, the same as buying a new motorbike. Windows 11 requires new technology and adequate hardware.

@May2k8 I would just keep using the computer you have. As long as it's working fine, then they can't force you to get a new one. They can keep making you worry there is something wrong with your computer, though. (They do that to me, too. I also have a Win10 laptop.)

@DaddyEvil They will definitely create bugs that can make us worry, the updates are not always compatible with what we have now.

Wow that's a long time to have a computer although the last one I had was old too. I had to replace mine because it took forever to open and let me do things. Maybe your should consider putting a little money aside each month to save for a new one in case you find your have no choice in the future.

as long as my old computer still works fine I might do a small upgrade. In the past, some people could exchange theirs for a little extra money, but now on average we have to buy a new one, so the old one becomes trash.

@MarshaMusselman Actually, the old HDD can still be used in a new computer and we only need a converter. For SATA we don't need a converter because PCs and laptops which is HDD only the voltage used is different (laptops only use 5V while PCs use 3.3V or 5V or 12V).

@May2k8 I've always trashed my old one, but many of them are still in my house. Once day when I'm completely caught up I should reattach them to my monitor and make sure all my info is deleted.

Actually, it's not only a menu problem, they also need a more powerful computer.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Before updating, we also have to consider the capabilities of our computer.

before they call the drivers they always diagnose our computer, if it doesn't match their criteria an error will appear.
