We tried a new cafe this morning ….

So we tried a new cafe for breakfast this morning. It is in a local town, about a 10 - 15 minute drive away. There are plenty of shops there too so we could combine the two. ( shopping and eating ).
The Mister had a mega breakfast, two sausage, 2 bacon, fried egg, hash brown, mushrooms, black pudding, baked beans, tomatoes and toast.
I had the mini breakfast ,1 sausage, 1 bacon , fried egg, baked beans, tomatoes , hash brown and toast.
All very nicely cooked and tasty too.
The Mister also had a black coffee.
Do you think there is anything missing from the breakfast ?

Even your breakfast is way more than I could eat at one time. Did you both take some home for later?
The foods sound delicious except for the black pudding. Mom used to make it when we'd slaughtered a steer or a pig but I didn't like it.

We ate it all at the cafe.
I have only recently started eating black pudding. I try not to think about what it is.

I can't help thinking what it was made from and just can't eat it. Just like my brother telling me that rice was boiled maggots. I can't eat it and keep it down.

@DaddyEvil I could never eat it because I knew what was in it . My Dad, however loved it. The first time we went out for breakfast after we lost Dad there was black pudding on it. I said I would try it ‘ for Dad ‘……I liked it and will eat it on a breakfast now. …..I would never buy it and cook it at home though !

@traceyjayne I see there’s no potato bread on the menu. There’s no way I could eat all that anyway. The black coffee would suffice with a couple of rounds of buttered toast.

Potato bread isn't really a thing here.
It probably sounds more than it is .....but it does last us all day

Sounds like quite a breakfast. I don't know about the black pudding though.
