I Broke Even on Scratch-0ff Lottery Tickets Today

I bought $25 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets (5 tickets @ $5 each) and 3 of them were losers, but the other two were winners netting me $25, so I ended up breaking even. I don't mind breaking even, even though it would be more fun to win a little bit of money to tuck away. But it's fun scratching them off in anticipation of finding out whether or not you've won anything that makes it enjoyable. Do you buy scratch-off lottery tickets?

No, I don't. Gambling is just not my thing. I have bought the very, very occasional lotto ticket when they used to be $1 for a chance to win big, but I stopped doing even that, long ago.

There was a time when I would buy lottery tickets hoping against hope to win the bumper prize. The highest amount I won' was just a small fraction of one dollar.It was just 5 rupees, about one- seventeen of a dollar. Now I never buy lottery tickets.

Nope. I started to buy one once but then gave it to somebody else and he won $50 on my ticket.
