Two Atlanta Georgia firefighters answered a request to rescue kids who were inside of an elevator that was inside of a blind shaft on Friday November 14.
The kids were trapped inside of the elevator that did not access to any floors. Despite crews attempts to reset the system and the fact that a technician was not available, two firefighters were lowered down by ropes to rescue the children who were 100 feet deep.
The two firefighters were able to rescue the kids from the elevator safely in what might have a residence since I doubt that if it had been a business building, the crews would have been able to fix the elevator that was damaged.
The good news is that the kids which are likely two children were in good condition when they were rescued by the firefighters which took around 15 to 20 minutes to free them from stuck inside of an elevator.
These types of elevator malfunctions are odd indeed.

What an adventure for those kids. 100 feet deep? That's a way down. Glad the kids were okay.

That is one hairy rescue, and it was good that the two children were rescued safely.
