What are sayings for Thanksgiving.

I want yummy food. That would be something good to think of and go buy or make some nice things to have for your Thanksgiving dinner. Hopefully you are having a dinner with friends and family.
How about Thanksgiving is a season of THANKS. Being thankful for everything that you have in your life.
How about a season of BLESSINGS. To see everything as being a blessing in your life.
Here is one that I like. A season of LOVE. I hope you have your love ones over for a nice dinner or you go to their house for Thanksgiving.

I plan on an enjoyable holiday.
My favorite “saying” is “it’s ironic how people rush the stores for products less than 24 hours after giving thanks for all they have.” Funny but true.

We’ll be getting together day after Thanksgiving due to my stepmom and dad going to her family’s for Thanksgiving, and my sister and her family going to my BIL’s for the holiday. Which is fine by me as long as we just get together. It IS a blessing.

We have't gathered with family at Thanskgiving since we were young. Thanksgiving for us is pretty much just another day though I might put out pretty china. This year it looks like I will make pecan pie. Otherwise hubby and I will have a vegetarian pizza- and bless the turkey that we won't harm.

@jstory07 Thank you. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving too. We are going over to my son's ex wife's house. I was there yesterday and she told me she would like us to come and she texted my son telling him we are coming.

I will be having a Meals on Wheels Thanksgiving dinner alone this year. This is my second Thanksgiving without my hubby. The first one he was in rehab.

This will be my first Thanksgiving in the USA, and I’m honestly not sure what to expect. I can’t help but wonder if it’s anything like how we celebrate Christmas in the Philippines—where the whole family comes together, shares delicious food, plays games, and enjoys talking and laughing with one another. Do people give gifts during Thanksgiving too, or is it celebrated differently here?
