Ash gourd cake/ pitha

In India we have the tradition of making cakes or pitha from different gourds like bottle gourd and ash gourd. I did prepare the ash gourd cake which is available in the market mostly in the winter. I made some curry out of it and used the rest to make this cake. I mixed some semolina, rice powder, dessicated coconut and sugar. I also added cream to make it soft. I did add some dry fruits to make it tastier and some cardamom powder for a sweet smell. In Eastern India we call these cakes pitha.
