Just when I thought I was going to change jobs, I am not.
I was to interview tomorrow for a company that provides residential support to the adult disabled. I would have been in charge of the whole county. We do not have many people but we do cover a lot of land space. She said she could easily get me twenty to thirty hours of work.
On the other hand, Shari texted me. As of January 5th they would like me to work in the 4th-5th resource room.
Bob really was leaning towards me staying at the school. We KNOW how the system works. The benefits package was already in place. I went in this morning to visit with the teacher who is in charge of that program. She is new at our school and I wanted to hear straight from her what the expectations are. If I disliked her, I would not take the job, I would have gone to the interview. She said some of my questions were some I would need to ask of Shari. Like hours. Oh, and I was being brought in to cover for someone who was going to cover maternity leave in Structured, so she did not know what would happen when maternity leave was over.
I emailed Shari, who said full time day hours, and that we have no way of knowing if these young ladies would come back from maternity leave, but when/if they do there would still be plenty of work to go around.
So I told Shari, "yes" and texted the person I was to interview with and gave her my regrets. She thanked me for not being a "no show".
I went in for an hour this afternoon to cover the bus for Shandy.
Took universal leave for my morning hours.
As far as I know I will work just two hours tomorrow.
