When we got home, he surprised me. He didn't seem to want his pepsi. Not to say he won't tomorrow, but he seems to be taking his doctor's advice to heart. He's had one meal replacment shake from Kate farms, and he's drinking, of all things water. I was told to downgrade to soft foods for a while, to give his throat time to recover. The doctor also found ulsers, and some word I could barely understand because he had an acient.
I'm proud of George for asking for safe things like water, milk and nutrion shakes.

He can be stubborn, so I'm happy to hear he's behaving himself.

Good to know that things are working for George.
I have not exactly followed your posts but I know that you have to put in a lot of effort for his care.
Has the doctor advised against taking Pepsi?

No. George can have it, but he needs to take it easy. He needs to work on getting his gag reflex back and ensure he swollows safely.

the less sodas he drinks the better, I was addicted to them for yrs
till they put me in the hosp & messed my pancreas & gallbladder
up where it just about killed me twice so now I have been put on
insulin for life cause of it, & a handful of life long meds.
