Interesting About Cats

My daughter has had cats all of her life. She has had two occasions where one has bit her badly enough that she had to get medical attention. We wonder what makes a cat in this environment bite their caregiver. So, in reading about this I find that cats can get over stimulated. Though we as humans feel petting and having that special time with your cat is relaxing and an affectionate act a cat doesn't. A cats emotional arousal escalates rapidly and especially under close contact. Lesson learned.

Knowing there will never be another cat in my life I do not like to consider them at all,

I think you have established that. I am sorry if these posts cause negative feelings but I enjoy sharing things I find out about cats with others here.

@celticeagle I've rarely had issues with the Siamese folks in my life.
