Football in the rain…..

We woke this morning to rain, rain, rain…..
We were awaiting a text saying the Grandsons football was cancelled …..a text that never came !
So, Off we trundled …..
We arrived to find only a few people had turned up and all were sitting in their cars, not wanting to be the first to get out, and I’m sure all hoping if no one got out of the car it wouldn’t actually happen !
Then …..one person got out !
Bother !
Anyway the Grandson was quite happy to run around in the rain for an hour.
We, were quite happy to sit in the car with the heater and radio on , for an hour.
What a morning !

I remember once years ago my brother playing soccer in the rain. Don't remember if they went through the whole game or not, but it was definitely raining!

I would have stayed in the car, too. No reason for me to get wet just because some people don't use the brain God gave them. 
We have pea soup fog here. The forecast predicts it will last all day. If it does, we won't be getting out in it. (Our high today is supposed to be around 13C, which is okay but Pretty would freeze if she went outside.

At least you were out of the rain even if grandson wasn't. Kids don't notice such things sometimes. lol
