I was cleaning the corner where I will put my tree, and found a key tag with my name on it. I knew this before but I read it. It said my name "Karen" is oringinally from the Greek and then the Danish form of Katherine meaning pure. Do you know the meaning of your name, and the origin of your name?

Mine is a combination of my parents name - it's a usual thing that they do here in the Philippines. But they said that if I was a boy they would have named me King Simon (from the Bible) another common thing in the Philippines.

My mom said if she had thought of it ten or had another daughter She would have named her Paula Jean. A combo of both their names.

My Mom and I would always look in stores for things with my name spelled correctly. One year she got me a coffee cup with my name spelled correctly and it's meaning. The cup says: STACEY "Springtime" This is a shortened version of Anastasia, originally a Greek name which means "Of the resurrection."
