Ending the working day. / myLot

I need to work on my work-life balance a bit more. That means setting bounderies and knowing away from the apps, games and websites I use to make money. Yes, this includes Mylot. I am not going to vanish, no. I'll be back tomorrow. But, I am setting goals and hours for myself to spend on thease apps and sites. I've never been the type to spend hours doomscrolling, but I can easily get bored and distracted, which isn't ideal. So focus is key. Which I'm working on. Taking care of George always comes first. So, that's what I'm working on doing. He's glad the tube is out, but now I have to get him to take in the nutriants he needs including enough water. I just gave him some ice water. Hopefully he can get it down without it soaking through his clothes. It's a work in progress for sure.

I need to get a routine going too, but hard to do when you don't get up at the same time every morning!!

George and I don't either, we never have. But, I've learned to make a routine around my time awake. In a way I think we all do and a lot of it is done without really thinking about it.

Regarding the life balance, I kind of relate to it. I've been struggling with life balance right now. I even think that I'm overworking myself--- I have a main job, which is teaching, but I also do tutoring service to students after work. So basically I'm working 14 hours a day.

Sometimes that's what you have to do, but it's also important for you to have things to fill your time when you're not working.

I try to keep a routine for the time I spend online. This way I don't get distracted and spend more time online since it's so easy to get lost and spend hours. Glad that things are coming along with George

I think many of us are guilty of that. I think that's why there's a dumb phone movment trend going on.
