Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 62 degrees F and raining here at the Jersey Shore. Meh. Today was a half day at work. I had an absolutely obnoxious meeting with the principal today. I brought the head building rep with me. The place is really starting to feel like a hostile work environment. By the end of it I was just like "sure I will do whatever you say" and stormed out of his office. Thank Darwin that we now have a 4 day weekend. I was out of there as soon as the bell rang at 11:15am. I'm back at the apartment now with the cat crew. I have to do dishes and order some groceries but that's pretty much all that's on the agenda. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Didn’t you show him the “brutally honest” compliment you got yesterday? Question: can you transfer to another school and keep all of your benefits, or if you move to another school would you be back to zero?

I could go to another high school in the district but I'd lose my seniority in the building. If I went to another district I wouldn't have the same salary and I would lose my tenure so that's not an option.

I went back to bed this morning, so I haven’t done much of what I had planned yet. It’s chilly enough I don’t want to leave the apartment.

Hopefully, things will be better when you go back after the Thanksgiving break. I just cut into the pecan pie and am eating a slice of it now. (I don't need the sugar but it's delicious, anyway.)
