Gifts for my father - part two

I wrote about buying gifts for my father and how I tried to come up with something a bit different. One year, soon after we were married, we bought him six different beers. He wasn’t a big drinker but enjoyed a beer on a hot day. Christmas in Australia is hot so a good time for having a beer. The thought was that he and Vince would share one or two of the beers over Christmas. It would be something for them to talk about too. It’s not a spectacular gift but it was better than socks and jocks. The photo shows my parents on their wedding day.
