Pantomime progress

I was asked for updates on the construction of pantomime scenery… Because it’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ we are going to have quite a lot of underwater scenery. And of course because it’s panto, everything has to be larger, more colourful and more fantastic than real life. So here’s the next stage in the creation of our rocky sea-bed scenery. Carefully hand-crafted out of broken plastic laundry baskets and storage boxes, unwanted packing paper, chewed up swimming pool ‘noodles’ and offcuts of pipe insulation. Still got more to add but it’s getting there don’t you think? All rights reserved. © Text and image copyright Fleur 2025.

This looks fantastic, and the items are made out of such inventive materials! This looks like hard work, but so rewarding.

It looks good. And is such a good upcycling project using all the waste materials. That's incredible! It's going to get better as you add more things there.

Very creative. Using up material that would be thrown out is a great idea.

Those look really good and I can just imagine them actually coming from the seafloor.
