Well, we're back from a surprise walmart run.

George announced about two hours ago he wanted to go to Wal-mart. We were looking for a duel heating eletric matress cover. We bought our first two at Aldi, but George had no desire to go to Aldi, so Walmart it was.
When we got there, I had a hell of a time find a working eletric cart. In fact I couldn't find one until we were leaving. At first I expected George to give up and want to go home, but no.
We found a shopping cart and he used that and successfully walked through the store. I was impressed because walking through a Walmart super center is no easy task. I can walk pretty well, but that's something I wouldn't dare try.
We're working on getting things scheduled and worked out with all this medical stuff. What a nightmare.

I imagine he does get cold at night without the heated mattress pad. It's good that you went to get one.

@MarieCoyle I apparently hit it right on the right time because not only did I save 90 according to Walmart, but they were selling out online and it went from in stock, to 'a few left' in the time it took for us to drive the fifteen minutes home with a stop at mc donolds and 7-eleven.

It'll be cool, but not bad on Thursday. George can drive us, and the van has heated seats and a heater. So we'll be fine.

Glad your trip was so successful and good luck with working out the medical stuff. Hey, how bad are is the Walmart parking lot, I just read online today a 2 year old toddler got run down in a Walmart parking lot, Scary stuff, Anyway welcome to December and a good evening to you both,

Which Walmart? There's the neighborhood one, there's Ormand and South Daytona. We were at South Daytona. I'm not sure how bad the parking lot was, because George parked in our old parking spot. It's a bit longer distance to the front door, but it's accessible and more walkable then the ones we have been using.

@RasmaSandra It's very tragic, but that's parential negelance more than anything. If you're going to have a kid that young, they need to be in a cart, stroller or some other thing.

@kaylachan I checked it was not here but in Englewood, Florida and the mom was busy with baby while the toddler walked in front of a jeep. Mom should of been watching him as well.

I am so proud of George not giving up 
that shows he's getting better with every struggle
I know all too well about walking through Wal-Mart.
It is a struggle when you're not strong leg wise to
walk the whole store, but that's 1 thing to do to
get your strength back just not all at once.

& while I was recovering from my health
issues, it was all I could do to do what
walking I could just to get what shopping
I could, but I toughed through it.
