Sure, it seems harmless to pee in the shower. After all, you're naked and the water's running and it just goes down the drain, right? Well, an article I just read said that peeing in the shower could be damaging your bladder. It said that if you regularly pee in the shower, you can affect the bladder’s ability to store and get rid of urine efficiently because your brain will start to associate running water with time to pee which might cause accidental leaks and weak bladder control. The medical research article also mentioned pelvic floor function and your overall urinary tract health were affected if you frequently peed in the shower. Who knew that so much could be affected by this innocent act?
