“Away in the Manger” is another favorite Christmas carol. It was first published in the late 19th century and is one of the most popular carols in Britain. It has two common musical settings one by William J. Kirkpatrick and one by James Ramsey Murray. Among the best versions of this carol is one sung by Carrie Underwood.
