Would You Use BBQ Scented Deodorant?

Who thinks of these things?
Progresso, yeah the soup company, created BBQ-scented deodorant called Pitmaster Deodorant.
The deodorant is supposed to smell like a BBQ pit, "providing a smoky aroma reminiscent of grilling without the actual work of cooking."
Why oh why did the company create that? And who, oh who, would use that as deodorant?

I only use unscented deodorant. I find the one you mention grosse.

Why would they even think this was a good idea (crazy) might be a fun gag gift for a bona fide griller but certainly not something to take seriously and wear

No, I'd rather not. I use an unscented deodorant crystal.
