Well, it's done and I'm exhausted.

Just reminded how much I hate making the bed, but it was past time. I have the new heated matress cover on along with a fresh set of sheets. I was to tired to dig out a clean blanket, so I simply just reused the old one. At least the bed's ready for us to sleep tonight. I don't think George will be sitting on the porch tonight, but that's okay. He's trying. The healing is painful to say the least, and other than offer tynoal, there's little I can do. At least I have food cooking.

I hope his healing is as fast as is humanly possible. At least there are Tylenol if needed.

It's going slower than we'd hoped, but we're getting there.

We had/have a king size bed; and it was always a pain running back and forth to make it. I'm glad you got your bed made.

Ours is a queen. I would hate it if it was king sized.

I agree. Redoing the bed is a whole lot of work. Hubby insists he will do it all himself so I stay downstairs and try to ignore what is going on above me.

To George's credit, he did ask if he could help, but he can't so I have to do it on my own. Stripping it's easy, putting on sheets is hard. Thankfully, the matress pad needed to air out after I put it on, so that gave me a chance to take a break.

@kaylachan I'm glad you got a break. Hubby and I have had too many verbal sword fights over how sheets go- when I am folding newly dry sheets I try not to ask for help though folding big sheets is hard on my shoulders now.

@sallypup I gave up trying to fold them correctly. If I have the energy, I'll do it, but if not I won't.
