As most of you know I don't like snow (s**w!) except to look at from a warm area. I was living in an apartment that was in another county about a bit over an hour from where I live now. My daughter lived in this county then too. And a wide spread snow storm came to this area. There was a lot more snow (s**w!) and damage in this town then where I was. Here there were more inches. All the lights were out almost every home unless they had a generator. All the stores had no power, so they were closed. People started breaking the windows and other ways of entering the stores and stealing food and other merchandise. Only certain area's had reception for their cell phones too! This went on for 4 days! Today we got snow that started at 2:00 AM and went on about 12 or 13 hours. I am not sure how much we got, however we had no power problems. So it could of been worse. How is the weather in your area?

That sounds like quite a time. We had rain yesterday and it's in the 40s here today. If we got snow it was probably in the mountains.

The weather is great here. It's not pleasant when the power is out for ages.

I'm glad you didn't lose power. It's cold and there's s**w on the ground. Could be worse.
