I have always been a fan of Warner Brothers Studios and the movies they produce. I could always expect an entertaining one from them. They are one of the oldest movies studios in Hollywood. I just read where Netflix is acquiring them and changes will begin happening soon.
Movie distribution has been through many changes since the COVID pandemic. There was a huge decline of movie going during this time. Now many movies aren't even in theaters very long before they hit streaming.
Some movies coming out that I learned about in this same article made me happy. There is going to be a Practical Magic 2 coming out in September. Also, the popular Netflix series, The Night Agent, will have a new season drop on February 19,2026. I've been waiting for this one quite a while. And, one I used to watch on ABC through the Peacock app was "Found" which i guess Netflix will pick up although it had been cancelled. I hope they make some new episodes but I doubt that will happen.
So, 2026 should be interesting for movie and series fans on Netflix.

I don't have Netflix. I used to have it through my SIL; but they cut my access.

I have had Netflix since soon after they came out. Some of the apps don't allow anyone other than family members to have access.

Mine as well. Then I left Peacock and didn't have access to it again. Then they got canceled. I am excited to see it will be where I can watch it again. It is a favorite also.
