Are you doing more of your Christmas shopping online or in person?

I was just mentioning in a previous post I am doing little in person Christmas shopping. Why should I when so much is available online and can be shipped to the recipient? So much easier than in store shopping.I would say I am doing 90 percent of my shopping online.

Mine has been about half and half. Many presents have been ordered online, but many of my holiday decoration shopping has been in person. I love the comfort and ease of ordering online, but there are some things I still want to touch and feel in person before buying.

Special things are nice to buy in person.

@snowy22315 Yes, if it’s a special gift you want to make sure everything is perfect before you buy it. Can’t always do that when you order online.

I do 100% of ALL my shopping online. For Christmas I only had to buy 3 gift cards. I also ordered some Christmas stickers, bookmarks and Christmas cards.

I bought some Christmas cards in the store. I didn't need them, but I liked the design.

It's definitely easier, but I can't resist some of the neat stuff I see in stores.

If I was seeing more people in person I would probably buy more from the store.

I earn Amazon vouchers online to avoid using my cards online.

It’s all online this year. Most of my items are coming to me, and I’m then giving them to the recipient, (a select few go through the post office) but, of course, the Christmas cards I got people were sent straight to them. Sure, it kept them from getting stolen, but it was free shipping whereas the post office charged me $5 per card because they called them packages.
I’m really looking forward to people’s reactions to their presents this year, although I’m trying not to get my hopes up with their reaction. It’s disappointing when you go to the trouble of getting someone something, and then they’re like, oh, nice. It makes you not want to waste effort or money.
