I Think I Strained My Brain Today

This morning was my dementia testing. It lasted 3 1/2 hours.
I felt like I did well naming as many animals as I could in 30 seconds, naming as many words that started with the letter "F" as I could in 30 seconds (I was good and didn't use THAT "F" word) and remembering a list of 12 words that the psychologist gave me.
I felt like I failed miserably at all the visual spatial ones involving identifying patterns and remembering patterns.
I felt like I did okay on the ones putting things in sequence and identifying pictures of miscellaneous objects.
I feel reasonably good about the "intelligence" test. I didn't do so well on the math test. I exceled at the vocabulary test.
I won't get my results until Dec. 12th, so I'll let you know then how I came out.

Good though bless you Lou..I hope the results will be good.

@looeyville That’s mean asking you to give a list of F words. I hope you included fart. If you didn’t then I’d have failed you.

Best of luck, the question is were you good at any of that stuff before...you thought you had dementia?

I hope the test results show you did well on all of it. Good luck!
Trying NOT to say a word would keep that word popping up in my mind while I was trying to think of something else.

That sounds like a really long test and I don't know how good I would be at some of those questions.
