The Person Finally Calls and The Blowers Start

I have been waiting for a man to call from my new doctor's office. He would tell me how their visits will go and about when they will be scheduled. Basically what to expect. Things I would really appreciate knowing when a professional is going to be coming out to my home. I thought he would call two days ago and he didn't. Then thought perhaps he'd call yesterday and he didn't. Today was the day. Just as I answered the phone and he told me who he was the maintenance people started up the leaf blower, and it sounded like it was right under my window. I made sure the volume was up as far as it would go. I think I got most of the jist of what he was saying. I hope he didn't feel I was rude. Usually, the maintenance yard people come on Thursdays. Why they chose today I don't know.
