12 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from COLD Green Bay, Wisconsin. It's not too bad yet. My computer shows 22 F and feels like 8 F. Midnight the bitter weather and windchills move in until Sunday. They're talking about -30F to -35F. Yes, cold. I won't be going anywhere until Sunday for church. It was a good day. I'm thankful I got my shopping done finally. I got my Christmas turkey for .77/lb. making my 12.5 pound turkey less than $10. I also used my UCard and didn't need to pay anything out of my checking account. That was a true blessing. Then we went to Fleet Farm and I spent $51. Christmas is taken care of now. I found a couple of in-store sales. I found something for my son and his girlfriend. So, my kids are taken care of. I'm thankful I printed up Firestorm this morning before we left and gave it to the person proofing it for me. I told her to take her time. I don't expect to publish Firestorm before 2027. I have four books in front of it. I'm thankful I'm caught up here and on the other site I work on. Seeing what you're all doing and reading your posts is a blessing. It's an important part of my day.
