Dogs When They Eat Are fun

I guess best give warning first. They better trust you. If a dog invites you to watch them eat, you better take them up on that offer. Its the utmost sign of respect and trust.
The big brute Tristan, was the first I ever saw do it. Maybe he passed it on to these females without me realizing it.
They all do it different, its kind of cool. Tristan a manly dog, nothing to say. Just stare you down. OK buddy I am coming. Lays down eats in such peace, good you looking out for your king. 
Brooklyn, scratch with paw, nose bump. Tristan told me about you. This bowl in the wrong spot, that bowl of food is stupid. Lets knock it around so the kibble is right. There, you see buddy, Tristan told me you would look after me right.
Kai, Kai,. they keep putting my bowl in the wrong spot. If Brooklyn and Delta want the second bowl, then I get the second bowl because they wanted it.
Kai, Kai we give you the biggest bowl because you have the biggest beak, Kai like screw that, they my competition in the friendliest of ways. I will kill them softly
Yet she always made sure Delta and Brooklyn had or has enough to eat. Brooklyn was boss most times but they swapped sometimes. Women weird with power compared to men.

Most do Which is why I think Tristan Taught Brooklyn. Kai is not as dumb as she looks learns things in her own way but what does Delta do on her first days.
Spitting Kibble all over my door step, why you not watching me? I am watching and sure makes me smile you all keeping such a legend a live and he was so mean to you, well them he never met Delta. He would have taken it easy on her, she has more of a fragile soul.
That is why he was so mean, kept his spirit alive but also taught them, not many dogs know what to do if they want to survive. People not all like them, you have to make them see your worthiness.

When I was little, we had a big dog named Ted. You give him table scraps and he'd start eating. If you asked if he was going to share, he'd raise his head and step away from the bowl and just look at you to see if you wanted any. You could pick out a piece and he'd go back to eating. He was a good dog.

That's really cool, dogs get a bad rap, they are very thoughtful. Where they struggle is the other dogs are like brothers and sisters. They annoy each other just like people, so they can get into fights, but Brooklyn and Kai were in one fight in 11 and a half years.
I think about that a lot these days. They were together all the time and that is when you get in fights the most. They got in one fight in 11 and half years. Blows my mind. In dog world that is their whole life.
