Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 20 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 43. It is supposed to start snowing this evening and they are forecasting 3-5 inches by tomorrow.
I was up later than normal last night. A coworker who lives like 2 minutes away came over because she was all fired up about work. She spends too much time stressing about that place when she isn't there. She has Asperger's which makes her a lot to deal with so I try to limit my interactions with her. I did answer the phone last night though so she wound up here. I was making a lasagna for dinner. I started basically when she said she was coming over. If I had known she was coming it would have been ready when she arrived. This was a last minute thing though so we didn't eat until 9:30.
She left around 11pm.
As tough as she can be to handle I'm glad she came over. After hearing the TV doing its Morse code thing for a couple of hours she said "that is making me nuts". I said "no kidding me too". She asked if I had unplugged it and plugged it back in. I said no but I had turned it off and on. I did what she suggested and. . . NO MORE MORSE CODE!
I'm so happy that I won't have to deal with getting a new TV.
I don't have any big plans for the day. I'm not going to the cookie swap since it will be snowing. My car doesn't go in the snow and I already hate driving at night. I have the ingredients to make a zillion of the cookies. I'll make some anyway to bring into work. The cleaning lady will be here at some point. I never know when she will show up. In any case I have lots of lasagna so I won't have to deal with making dinner.
What's everyone else up to today?

That's what I suggested you do yesterday. I'm glad it worked. 2 people like this

Oh, darn. Someone is missing out on those cookies, but at least people at school will get the tastiness. I wouldn’t take a chance in the car either.
And thank goodness your coworker tried that with your TV. No one wants to spend all that money on a TV, especially when it isn’t that old.
Not much going on here today. I found a few things in my bags last night, so I guess I’ll keep on with that.
