Rob Reiner and his wife have been killed

Rob Reiner was a well-known actor and director whose breakout role was playing Archie Bunker's son-in-law on "All in the Family". Not only was he a prolific actor and director but he was very outspoken about his political views. He was 78 and his wife was 67.
When I first heard the news this morning I assumed that it was someone who disagreed with his politics. I'm seeing some reports on Twitter however that they were killed by their son who was known to have issues with drugs and homelessness.
What a loss for his family, for Hollywood, and for the country.

This is why I'm sure glad I don't have any kids
cause these days they have no sense of remorse
of how much you do for them & how much you
