16 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a pleasant day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Yes, it's cold, but after the kind of weather we had over the weekend, it feels like a heatwave out there. I'm just glad it didn't melt all my snow. I did see some melting, but overall, there's still a lot of snow. I hope I can say that on Thursday when we'll be in the 40s and then it gets cold again. I did hear snow in the forecast along with that other word I don't like to say in winter. So, I'm hoping we get a lot more snow than that other wet stuff. I had a good day today and it's not over yet. I'm thankful for spending time with you. I have the notifications finished, which means I spent time with you in your world. One of my favorite things to do. I'm thankful I went shopping with my neighbor this morning. I got everything I need for Christmas dinner. So at least that's ready. I even made a list this time so I wouldn't forget anything. I left the bananas until Thursday when we're going to Hy-Vee. My neighbor wants to go, which always makes me happy to visit my favorite store. I'll need bananas by Thursday. Okay, that's my day. Shopping took the longest. We visited three stores.
