How long does it take your dishwasher to run a cycle?

This DW I have just goes on and on. I put these dishes in and started it around 9 AM and it hasn't even hit the dry cycle yet. It doesn't help that this is stuck on the Heavy wash phase, but I am not exaggerating it seems to take 4 hours for this thing to run a cycle. I suppose it does a double cycle on heavy wash, but even so, it shouldn't take that long. I get tired of waiting for it, but there seems to be no alternative. I am not gonna handwash all that stuff.

An hour would be so nice. This has a one hour wash setting, but I can't access it. I am going to have to open this thing most likely before I go out. It is not going to complete I know that. The dishes were clean an hour ago.

I run mine on light wash and it takes about an hour to wash and then an hour to dry. I probably would only use the heavy cycle if I had a bunch of really dirty, cacked on messy dishes in there

I wish I could put mine on 1 hour wash. That would suit me just fine.

@Marilynda1225 It does but the panel to change the settings doesn't work. I think a sensor went bad in it or something..so heavy wash is what I get.
