Due to severe storms in the Fall City Washington state area that caused flooding in the area on Wednesday December 10 that trapped a 71 year old man and a 31 year old man who needed to be rescued by helicopters from the United States Navy stationed in Whidbey Island who were able to rescue the older man who climbed to the roof of his auto while the younger man was rescued when he hung on to a tree in a different area.
The U S Navy did the rescue mission since the local authorities could not risk their lives trying to rescue the two men who were in floodwater.

@Deepizzaguy You're right. Since those persons don't have a lot for their house, they have to build it near the riverbank.

Oh my.
I have noticed that there are sandbags around the drains on the roads here in my apartment complex, so I'm guessing that they're expecting flooding.

That's good to know that it is safe to fly a helicopter through the storm.

Floods are becoming a big problem, all over the world now, and some put it down to global warming.
It was good that these two were rescued, from rather hairy predicaments, trapped in flood waters.
