December Wedding and Funerals are most populated

Having attended at least three burials and a wedding this December, I realized there is one thing they share in common; large number of attendees. I suppose it is because many people are no longer working and have a lot of spare time. Furthermore, I feel many people have some reasonable amounts of money to spend, probably having saved enough during the year. I also think many people have travelled from cities and towns to the village, thus increasing the number of people around.

In the United States, June is the month with the highest amount of weddings.

Is there any particular reason why you in the US prefer June for weddings?

@SIDIKIMPOLE I believe it is because in June the weather is best for outdoor weddings, plus kids are out of school, and it is a prime summer month for people to take vacations or honeymoons.

More people available to attend. That must be nice for the families.

People sometimes go to a lot of effort to attend these celebrations.
