Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 29 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 40. I've been up for a couple of hours. I don't know what my issue is. At this point it is almost 5am and I have an hour of tutoring at 7:45am so I'm just staying up. I can nap afterwards. I don't have any big plans for the day as per usual. I might get up to some baking project. I'm not even going to set any big goals because all they seem to do is cause stress. No thank you. I'm looking forward to watching Roy Wood Jr.'s Christmas special tonight though. He cracks me up. What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning. It is a super cold start to the day here. We had a very mild Thursday, and it was followed by some snow and a flash freeze yesterday morning. We had snow squalls all day long yesterday. It is at least clear this morning, but I am not certain if I will venture out on the roads myself or ask my husband to drive me. I just hate to have him tagging along at the grocery store, it always costs so much more.

My ex had no patience for grocery shopping with me. I think he deliberately acted awful so I wouldn't ask him to come with me.

@NJChicaa Hmmm, come to think of it, that may be the strategy that my husband is using too. After 3 years of retirement, and having more time to himself than I do, I honestly thought that he would be over it.

I’m just going to my dad’s to pick up the packages that have been sent to his house. It’s 48 right now, but the high is 65 degrees. And then a few NFL games will be on this afternoon so I’ll watch them too, probably.
