Microsoft Rewards are weird

So, I was dismayed the other day that I could not get my 5 dollar Amazon card with more than 5,000 points. The price when I went to redeem was 6.500. Well anyway, I finally got to that point,,,went to redeem and it was back to 5,250. What the heck? Did they temporarily raise the price and put it back down? That's nuts.

I don’t use them, but I noticed on my survey sites they have raised the amount it takes to cash out. I’ve never seen them raise and lower them like your example just now though. That’s very odd.

I totally forgot about those points and when I checked them last summer, I cashed in for a $10 gift card. It was fairly easy to obtain and use.
