Heaved a Huge Sigh of Relief

The dear lady in my life ( she's no less than a boss sometimes) was visibly unhappy with me and showed it by her facial expressions and angry words. In her opinion, I was not doing enough to find out whether our names are there in the voters' list after the ongoing SIR. However, with some help of our office clerk I saw our names are duly included in the all important list. She had good reasons to be tense because it is heard millions of names have been erased from the voters list. And they can only be included if they can prove with genuine documents that they are not illegal intruders ( ghuspaithiye, as the PM and the HM label them insultingly). The said SIR has created an unprecedented turmoil among people because you will be considered a non-citizen if your name is not found in the list and you will lose all your citizenship rights.

Well, that's how politics work. In our place we have the same delimma. If you don't the common sense you will be surprised that your name isn't on the list.

I'm glad you're no longer in trouble but I can see how very worrying it would be to be unsure whether you were regarded as a citizen or not. It would be a great relief to have it all sorted now.
