Very slow news day.

I note that the BBC, true to form, is once more drawing public attention to vacuous nonsense. It reports that Prince William has been visiting homeless people along with his son - bless them.
If I were homeless and a galant prince came calling, putting his arm round me and telling me to smile for the camera, I would probably commit an action that would see me immediately accommodated in prison. I think he is probably genuine, but unspeakably condescending, and utterly taken with himself and out of touch.
This is another good reason for the institution of the Royal Family to be dissolved, and their castles, palaces and mansions turned over to the nation to be used as homeless shelters.
And Harry, oh dearly me. Harry who allegedly wants to live out of the public eye, has released upon society new Christmas photos of the family he wants to protect from the intrusion of prying eyes. He really needs to make up his mind - is he a royal or not. Big brother Willy released his Christmas snapshots a week or so ago too - who does that? Does he really think anyone is interested? Unfortunately they are it seems.
It really is time to move on and stop all this royal nonsense - it’s just embarrassing.

I respect your opinion. We don't know if they're sincere or only for publicity.

I know what you mean since true happiness is helping others in need without the fanfare.

I try not to judge the members of the ''royal family'' but I think it's ridiculous. All of that pomp and circumstances and castles and mansions and even the funky hats and expensive clothes, over the top weddings, etc.--give it up, people. Many, many people have what could be called royal blood and are related to one of the famous lines of people there. They are living ordinary lives. All of the money used to maintain the royal family could be put to much better use--house the homeless, feed the hungry, improve what needs to be improved...the time for this has passed.
