A Lazy Sunday.

I have done nothing productive today. OK, I gave Kitty some extra wet food, and I played a bit of guitar on my bed. But for the most part I have done nothing. @Maluse would be proud of me, but she is missing in action. I may go deposit our Quilters Guild check and turn it into cash for my band mates. But that would require a jolt of inspiration. Maybe I'll check NFL scores, or call Horse Jr. and his mom. Do you ever allow yourself a day of total relaxation?

@DaddyEvil My favorite novel ever was either The Magus, by John Fowles, or Lonesome Dove, by Larry McMurtry. But for "lighter" reading, I like murder mysteries by Tony Hillerman.

I spent some time with my dad today. I told him yesterday I’d be at church today. I show up this morning, and he’s totally shocked to see me. “I didn’t think you’d really make it!” Football games aren’t bad today. I’m sure going to miss football when the season is over.

Funny you should ask, I have not tried that but perhaps I will attempt to spend some hours just watching stuff one day. It seems I always do better just working and writing than just watching something.

Last month, when I went to Oregon, I allowed myself a whole day reading a book while looking out at the ocean. I was going to today, but wound up doing a big deep clean in my trailer. I'm tired but it felt good to get done.
