Nothing like getting it all done at once

Friday was a freaky day in a way, but working half day and then having coffee with Jane and then having a doctor's appointment, and extra labs was a good kick off for winter break. Today I had three medical appointments as well. Dental, and a mammogram and a vision appointment (that was in McPherson). I had extra labs on Friday because I talked with my doctor about the fact that my brother was just diagnosed with Grave's disease, and I understand it can be familial. So my doctor ordered all the thyroid related labs for me as well. I got the call on the results and they are all clear or normal. I have not gone in and looked at the numbers for myself though. My doctor screens me every year for glaucoma, because my pressures run high. So I had a field of vision test and another screening to examine the nerves in my eyes. They are doing well. He had a new machine and now instead of my face pressed up against a machine for these tests he had a VR headset set up Since McPherson is only a half hour from Salina, we went to the Sam's Club there. It was an hour and a half home, but I like the store better than the one we go to in Wichita. We were home just at dark. So that is my Christmas break so far. Exciting, right?
