Missing cat reunites with his or her owner earlier this month in North Carolina

A cat who went missing after the events of Hurricane Helene was taken to the Avery Humane Society in Newland North Carolina as a stray cat when the veterinarians found a microchip. The owners of the cat were notified by the veterinarians that there cat was found safe and sound. The cat looks healthy in your photo, so it must have known how to look after itself, for all that long time away. I reckon the owners had nearly given up on getting their cat back, so that is a good ending for them too, to get it back again after 443 days away.
