About a week ago I found the top half of a small china egg on the floor, not on the window sill. I couldn't find its top half- it's like a small jar but egg shaped. I had placed a dime store ring in it. Both gone. I figured that Peter cat had done it. I couldn't find the top half anywhere.
This morning I took Beau Teak to the Vet for his monthly fluid removal treatment. Got home. I started to walk into the kitchen. There in front of me lay the top half of the little egg jar, the fake turquoise ring beside it. Not a mar on it. Thank you very much, Pete!!!
Now where to put it? I hate to bury it in the china cabinet. It has lovely little violets painted on it that remind me of my Mom. Just a sweety. I may need to bury it in the china cabinet, anyway. Peter may want to play with it again.

Some kitties are something else. I never had to worry about my Shelby Ann, but my cat of long ago, Dan, would grab and go. I had to hide my small things. I couldn't even leave my cheese or spaghetti around him for a second. He'd enjoy the feast. Glad you found the ring and top.

@noni1959 I adore your kitty's name. Peter has been a totally different cat than all the others that I've known through the years. I really need to clean under the fridge again. He hides his cap bottle treasures etc. under there and the stove.

@wolfgirl569 Almost every night I hear Pete doing something, smacking something around and sometimes smacking something down the stairs.

That was very thoughtful of Pete, Perhaps on a very high shelf where you could see it and he could not get here?

Thanks @RasmaSandra. I have two high cabinets. Pete has figured out how to get up on both. He gets in trouble for his effort so he doesn't do that often. I hope you have a good Christmas.

You're probably right. The oval egg shapes are pretty flipable and probably fun to play with.
